From the sounds of it I think the H/M March ride is gonna be nobody but the WV fellars. I'm still in with a couple of other buddies that were comin who have scheduled some time off work already. Anyway, if not, there is always the summer ride or any weekend in-between. :D

Well, Taco stopped up today and looks like he and Red and few others are still in. Myself, K2 and a few others are in so the ride will happen. Only difference is it will be a "micro-ride". :D Anyway, Redrunner, are you still in and anyone else??? Probably end up with 5-10 fellars. Dates, time and place are still the same. Good luck with the races to you fellars missin the ride to race but I must say I can't blame ya. Too much to race one weekend, camp the next weekend for 3 or 4 nights and then make the race the following weekend. Now thats a busy schedule which don't include kids, wifes or any other chit that goes on in life. Anyway, see ya'll for the summer ride if ya don't make for the spring ride.

Sounds like there is only gonna be 5 and if you show it will be 6. Talked to a couple of other locals who may just show up to ride. Anyway, I'm gonna call a few places and see about just getting a cabin. I'll put the cost out in this thread and will assume 6 people. Even if ya get the A-arms in and don't have time to mount em up come on down and we'll get em mounted. Since my wife keeps me on lock-down anymore (kids fault really) all I ever get to do is wrench on my toys even when they ain't broke!!! It's gonna be a good time.

Speaking of wrenching, is there a torque spec on the tie rod ends or is pretty much like a car. Tighten it up good and then back off to the hole lines up. I was going to do oil also, any specs on the filter bolts and assembly?

I'm sure there is but do not know off the top of my head. I have a shop manual for my 250R that has all of them in there and they can't be much different for a 300EX. I'll post em this evening for ya.

I called Trailhouseowner and Devil Anse Cabins which is right beside the Bearwallow Trailhead and they both are booked up through July. Both guys said you need to call 3 or 4 months ahead of time. Devil Anse has the cabins and a campground which does have a few spots. $25.00 per night for a full hookup and $15.00 per night for a tent. He said he could give us a full hookup and tent right beside each other. Otherwise Chief Logan is it.

Redrunner - I owe you some torque specs and I have not forgotten about it.

There are many hotels but I personally aint' to crazy about leaving my quad on a trailer in the outside lot. I'm still game to go but if it rains I will out.

Yeah its too bad weather is looking grim, but keep me posted I am at 60/40 right now. Got the arms off tonight and I have to have Jeff overnight the arms on Monday and try to get em on Tues. night. My plan would be to arrive early Friday morning.,like at 6:00 or 7:00am, all night drive. The manual has specs for the oil filter so I am cool there. Keep me posted on you weather outlook, no sense in coming if you guys are suspect of it. I do have everything ready to go. If not we will meet up with you for sure on the summer ride or another weekend.

Just joking about selling my quads!!! That would be like draining the blood out of my system. I don't get to ride like I want to but it is still nice to know I can go whenever a free afternoon pops up. Once I get my house construction completed and moved in later this summer my schedule should calm down. Rentals are an on going hassle / headache but the money is good. Just had a bad weekend with em though. People just do not respect others property anymore.
