Its lines up really good, I just have to make new front bolt on mounts and cut the swingarm bushing, haven't complete it yet and im still waiting on getting HiPers, Front American Racers, my 300ex shocks, LRD pipe and Nerfs. The a arms are painted red but im low on cash now until I sell my 400ex frame and parts. The 400ex plastic still isn't on right and can someone gimmi tips on how to mount it?

also for the plastic issue, looks good but maybe you could get a raiser block or something for the handle bars? raise it like... 4 inches or something?-darren

It was fun and whats a "rad" ? Im not new to quads but i've never heard of a "rad" lol. Can you post the pics of it done? The sprockets line up very nice but as for the pipe, im gonna take it to a friends house and see if his LRD 250R pipe will even come close to lining up and I think it will. If not i'll just heat it up, bend it very carefully and re-chrome it without altering the powerband or delivery to much. The front plastics are just a little nose high but im still working on them. How do I get ithe side panels to line up with the fuel petcock? Thanks.

Do you mean Radiator? If so then im just gonna mount it behind the steering stem but if the pipes in the way im gonna mount it in front of the engine.

I tried to do this in my 300ex frame. It's easy to bolt on, but.. it's hard to find a pipe to fit in this frame... and what's about your carburator? I was unable to fit this one correctly.. so I took off 250r motor of my 300.. and got 352 Big bore kit. I'll appreciate any new pics of your project. :)

in the 2nd picture there it looks like the sprocket is sitting about 1-2 inches below the swinger bolt? is it just me or is it? if it is then wouldnt you want to lift it up a little to get the c/s sprocket the swinger and the drive sproket to all line up so the chain doesnt hit?

I'm in the process of tearing mine down to gussett the frame. Does anyone have any pics of a 250X/300EX frame gusseted or know where to put the gussets?

THe sprocket is in the right spot. Its just the angle the pic was taken. Im trying to find a cheap stock pipe so i can see how well it will line up.
