It's a scam to get your personal info. Notice it says "pre-approved buyer only." You have to give them your info to be approved. A guy I work with told me Ebay sent him an e-mail warning about pre-approved auctions and that they are scams. This auction was up about a week ago too.

I just received an email from the owner of the account. As we thought somone stole her account and posted the ad. She said as of right now she still has the charges showing up on her account from the crook for placing the ad!
You never know though, I was kinda hoping it was a disgruntled wife going through a divorce!

Just out curiosity what happened to your buddy after he bid on it? I work in the computer field and I'm constantly warning my friends about being careful on the internet....

It's a great tool but you must be aware!

he doesnt have any and never will. they are over-seas scams. They only accept wire transfers. I sold my z400 on ebay and a few of my bidders forwarded me emails from a guy over-seas that was sayin it was HIS quad and to wire transfer them the $$$ and he would end the auction. What a crock of chit.

450R rider, they had by friend send $3500 western union to Japan. And that is the last he heard anything. He did this back in November.
He actually thought he was getting it direct from Honda of Japan. He got burned, e-bay can do nothing about it. the scammer steals your user id on there then sells stuff under your name. Look at the name on this one, ALKY or something like that. If you look at there feedback rating , it's a lady and she sold a bunch of crafts, and clothes. Then all of a sudden she is selling an 04 atv? I don't think so. It's a real shame.
I hope the person/people doing this get caught! They should burn in hell!

Its a scam. Like the post above, they only want western union money transfers and he always give a bunch of bull in his e-mails about being honest and all this crapt. The same people were doing this with the yamaha's when they first came out and me and my brother went through a big thing with e-mailing them to see really what it is and its all a scam. just don't bid on it and just if u can report it to ebay is the best thing. after about a day that the auction is there ebay will finally catch it and end it.

A buddy that I work with just had somebody try and scam him after a failed attempt at a dirt bike. He was the second highest bid. After everything closed, he got e-mailed by someone that changed the sellers e-mail by one digit, stating that the winning bidder backed out, and to wire the money to get the bike. They played e-mail tag back and forth for a while, the buddy thinking something was goofy. He finally called the orignal seller, and was quickly notified that the bike was long gone. As far as I know he is still playing games with the crook.

The pictures he is using are from a trx that I sold on ebay in January. I talked to Ebay and they cannot stop him from scamming do to offshore e-mail accounts. The word is he has done this same scam over 50 times using other bikes and cars. If anyone has bid on it retract your bid before the end of auction or you could be held legally responsable for the amount due.
This is just a warning from a guy who allmost got scammed by this same DIPSH*T.
If you have question post them or contact me:mad:
