86 linkage on an 89 frame?

Ok so a 86 shock doesnt work with a 89 R linkage. So does a 86 linkage fit on an 89 R frame? :confused: :D

The linkage piece that goes to the frame is the same on all years the piece that goes to the swingarm is longer on the 86. so the 86 will give you a lower ride height than the 89.

if use the 86 linkage and an 89 shock u will get lower height many people use that set up... just get an adjustable dog bone and make it however u want
