does anyone in here, have a built motor, or even a non-built motor that runs a fat boy 4 exhaust from duncan? If so, how is it?

I have a buddy with a full duncan 440, has everything engine...everything duncan, he dosnt like the bottom end, but then it comes on real strong, but like I said no bottom end. he races here in MN, he's I think like one of the best racers in MN acually....I think he's thinking of getting a 416 kit (changing back)sometime soon instead-darren

well thanks...i haven't even run my motor yet...but it was built by the guy who builds travis cains race quad. He also owns atv inovations. I have everything, from the 440 kit, to cam, to vortex cdi, and some more. But i am not running a good exhaust for it. I am just curious as to how the fatboy4 is, cause that is what he recomended. Well either that or the curtis sparks.

Well i can tell you we have a built 416, and a built 440, and both a Sparks x6 and Fatboy 4 pipe. I feel they are really comperable between each other. The sparks is on the 440 and the Duncan on the 416 and the bikes hang neck to neck until you hit 3rd gear in a drag. The 440 will pull, but it also is a little bigger. But the duncan is high quality and easily repackable, rebuildable and great looking. The sparks is hard as hell to repack, and is a little more tough to by parts for. The nice thing about the duncan is you can add a spark arrestor really easy, where as the Sparks takes a few hours and you have to change the end cap.n Whichever pipe you go with between the two, you can't go wrong.
