jet hot coatings???????

I had the headers on my DMC system Jet Hot Coated and it seems to run a tad better, but what's real nice is those pipes stick out a bunch and it was before there were heat sheilds installed and my friend's pants melted to the pipe. After a few rides the melted junk eventually melted completely off and is no longer visible. Just don't try to scrape it off if it happens and they will look like new again.

about how much does it cost to have an exhaust ceramic coated

is the jet hot coating or ceramic coating better. i didn't get the ceramic when i ordered my x-6 because i wanted the durability of the stainless steel. but, i would like this one coated if it can be but i don't know the benefits of ceramic vs jet hot, etc. thanks
