Have any of you heard of an "exhaust restrictor" on the eton 90's?? We have a 2001 TXL 90- Thunder

I found an Eton performance bulletin it sent to dealer tech's listing things that can limit performance and this was one of them...

It said to remove the restrictor and use the throttle limiter to control the power/speed. I looked at some drawings of the exhaust and nothing is listed (unless it's internally built in..)

Just wanted to add a little extra power w/o any $$

thanks.....

unbolt the exhaust from the cylinder, there should be a washer on the end of the pipe where it bolts on that reduces the size . take it out and you have found more power.

no the newer viper models are restricted by the cdi. take the cdi out of the rubber holder, on the back of it is a green wire, clip it. you have now disabled the rev limiter and the mini quad will rev higher and be faster.
