ok guys i'm in a toss up between a polaris predator and a honda 400ex. which one do you guys think would be the best. the predator is a 2003 and the dealer is selling it for 4,899 still in the crate. this situation is a toss up. i really like both of them but it's a tough choice, so can you guys please help me out. what's a better wheeler?????? :( :( :confused2

I figure if you have to ask this sort of question as it stands, you should go for the 400EX, because you do not already know yourself which one you should buy. Is this your first quad, can you ride, with a clutch, what terrain, how much do you weigh, how tall are you, how big are you on maintance, how old are you?, whats your experience?

if you spend less, you can spend more on goodies :D

no this is not my first quad i use to own a honda 250. i plan on riding on some trail and some track. i weigh 170 and am 6'2 and also i'm 18 years old. maintence is not a problem. i got rid of my 250 a year ago.:D

I'd buy a "used" but mint 400EX for around 3000 and dump the extra $2000 into the quad (suspension and motor).

there are 2 roads you can take,

buy the predator...

buy the 400ex, spend some stuff on it (nerfs, bumper, shocks) and have a cooler ride lol.

the 400ex would be suited more for track and trail.

get the 400ex

400 is great and way more reliable then Polaris predator i have a friend who is having lots of trouble with his predator.
