I'm doing a design project as part of one of my classes towards my associate's degree and I need the weights of the axle, swingarm, and hubs. All for a 300ex. Thanks for any help

not picking at you or anything but the swing arm needs to be flipped over to be correct. The chain is on the left and the brake/lock nut on the right.

Looks good though...I have AutoCad 2000 but have yet to learn how to do anything in 3D. Wish i had time to learn though.

This was drawn in Autocad 2002. It's drawn correctly you can completely rotate the part around usign 3d orbit. It's just upside down in the pictures.

im takin D&D and i think arris is easier to use but u can get more technical on auto cad. can u get a "free" download somewhere so i can practice at home.

I am doing the same thing for my design project. I am using SolidWorks 2003 and every detail should be correct including splines, threads, and axle nuts.

your lucky narly, in our class the computers we used arent linked to the network so we cant get on the internet. it blows. but the class rocks and im making one of the best grades in there and i earned like 5 or so hours at the college since i have an a.

My t-pin front end was my senior design project, and I'm with big thumper, Inventor is much easier to use.
