I Need Help Quick

I HAD MY BIKE BACK THE CAMP TONITE (450R) WORKED PERFECT. LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS. IT IS SNOWING AND IT IS ONLY
-3.WHEN I STARTED IT BACK UP AND I TOOK IT ACCROSS THE LAKE IT IS SPUTTIRING ABOUT 1\4 AND 1\2 THROTTLE IN EVERY GEAR. WHEN I OPEN IT UP IT WORKS FINE. WHATS WRONG NEED HELP PLEASE!!

Remove the bowl on the carb and see if your main jet is laying in there. This has happened from time to time with 400EX's and the symptoms were exactly as you described.

I MIGHT JUST TAKE TO THE SHOP AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY . I WONDER IF IT COULD BE THE **** GAS AT MY GAS STATION. ITS ALSO HARD TO START EVEN IN HEATED GRAGE.

if the main came out of the holder is would sputter at about 1/2 throttle and not run on top end

Im sure you turned your choke off... right?? Me and a few friends when rideing once and on one of the EX's it was running like crap then I looked down at his carb and his choke was on. :cool:

I KNOW FOR SURE THE CHOKE WAS OFF. I LET IT SIT ALL NIGHT NOW IM GOING TO TRY AND START IT AND SEE HOW IT RUNS. THERE IS SO MUCH SNOW DOWN HERE I DONT EVEN THINK ILL MOVE. BIGGEST STORM FOR A WHILE. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE IT COULD BE.

when its that cold out make sure u let it warm up awhile before running it hard or you will score the cylinder...even 4 strokes dont like being hammered on when dead cold...

i just went out in the grage and fired it up. seems to run fine. dont no what the problem was. hopefully it fixed itself. im ordering the white brothers carbonfibre pro full exhaust or the lrd full exhaust. what jet should i run and filter. where i live is 3000 feet above sea level or less thanks for your help

wow thats a jump....450 lrd kit or the 800 carbon kit....have u looked at the sparks pipe....Looks to be a great piece...jetting specs will or should come with the pipe...

Mabey it was just a little fuel line freeze up or something?
