I have heard nothing about this from my dealer. I don't know about the guy who posted the original post but he is a YFZ owner...I take that info with a large grain of salt!

That thread was originally started nearly two weeks ago. If there was a legitimate recall most you of who are already owners would've received the official recall in the mail from corporate Honda by now.

This is all false. The guy that posted this is from tucson arizona. Well I buy all my quads out of tucson arizona and happen to know that their are three dealerships that dont give a crap about you. They only care about your money. He happened to talk to one of those dealerships in tucson that are scam artists.

One thing I have learned is if someone adds "THIS IS NOT A JOKE" to a thread it usually means it's a joke. This is probably just BS, Honda knows how to make bikes.

On a separate note, back in Dec. Honda sent out letters to all dealers about the delay. The letter stated that a part that was contracted out was having to be supplied by a different vendor than the one they had originally planned on using. Unfortunately, they gave no info as to what that part was nor the original supllier was that was failing to make good on their end. This was well before any of us received our 1st 450R. Insiders told us(after the fact) that Honda has been testing reliability for over a year. It wasn't up to their spec's, so it got delayed. I have a hard time believing this cracked frame deal, but time will tell.

If there was a recall of any type, it would be listed on the CPSC web site. Also, the last time Honda had a recall on one of their ATV's they had info on their web site. Sounds lika another YFZ owner stirring the pot.

Total BS! I work at a dealership and everyone knows I have one and I can pretty much gurantee that if there was one I'd know about it. It is just a scam from an unhappy yamy rider.

all frames will break if beaten badly enough...I have seen and helped gusset 400ex,250r,raptor,yfz and z400 frames....They are all designed for sport riding and not hitting 50 foot doubles and stuff..

Have you looked at the frame on the R? I don't think it is going to break any time soon.

And even if they did recall it, New Frame! :D

Tim Farr tested this quad for months maybe a year! Honda test there bikes BEFORE they release them, not after!
