185 main jet in 450r

thats right i got the sparks full system with the airfilter to and got a jet put in and it ran like crap thought to big a jet but called curtis sparks and he said it needs a 185 or 190 daaaayum, thats big but i tried it and it ran saaaaweeeet, also got the X-factor nerfs, front bumber on along with the LSR +3 or 4 axle. put on some MXR's on douglas beadlocks and it helped its stance alot now it ready to rip and sounds like a beast, also what main jets are yall runnin with yalls pipes:macho

Right now I just have the HRC kit and the 185 jet that comes with it. When I get my next paycheck I'm going to get a Sparks full system and from what I've been reading I'm going to pick up a 190 main jet to try with the new pipe.

I just received my sparks full system also!! I was looking to possibly get the x-factor propeg nerfs (which is the same as the gibson btw) but has anyone found a deal on them anywhere? the best price I have seen is $269.

I have the HRC kit and full Sparks system and air filter with the lid on and use 190 main jet. Runs GREAT:D :D :D

the X-factor nerfs look great but there is drilling to be done but besides that they mount up great and have a tight fit, also with the sparks system on and 185 main i have the airbox lid off with the sparks filteron and it runs good, when i talked to curtis he siad he had been messin with the needle of somthing but that the 450R didnnt have to have the full jet kit just the main jet

benwa450r did you put Sparks on at the same time as the HRC kit or did you have the HRC kit first? I'm curious how much more power the Sparks system offers over just having the HRC kit. I have the HRC kit but don't want to drop the coin on the Sparks full exhaust unless it is significant.

I put the HRC complete kit in at the same time I installed complete Sparks stainless exhaust and Sparks air filter with 190 main jet. Should have tried it before exhaust... but couldn't wait. It now has great low end and all the way up is better. Way more power. The lair filter lid is on... but opened up.

I don't have the HRC kit. I have a full HMF system with the quiet core insert. It was way too loud without it. I am running a stock closed air box with a 150 main jet.
