By the looks of the stadium, I'd say it was sold out or close to it. Has all the other quad events been the same way? If so WHY doesn't the promoters see that these are just as popular as the Supercross's and put more events together?

If i remember correctly, Creech hasn't been doing well at all in these races. And didn't we hear he was going to chill out with the FMX for a while because he wanted to conentrate on the Nationals? Well he does way better with the FMX so throw up the backflip.

Hey cody what happened when your bike stalled out there, did that 2nd start switch u have rigged up fail or what? BTW I was the dude in teh pits that had the copy of huevos for all u guys to sign, and I also gave u the marker cause u didnt have one. Great racin though dude and it was really cool to meet you.

cody anderson
02-20-2004, 07:32 AM
Hey whats up... Yeah, thanks for the marker! Yeah, that really sucked when it quit running, I was in second at the time!!! It was just some electrical problems, but no more of hat because I have a kick start now! The second start switch worked enough for me to win the LCQ and 12th in the main... It looked pretty crude though!!!!

i must have been seeing things. a sway bar and tt style tires on farrs bike? thought you couldn't jump with a sway bar.

cody anderson
02-20-2004, 02:29 PM
NO, thats what he was running. You can jump with a swat bar... just make sure you land and take off straight.

Yea why is he running TT tires?

02-22-2004, 07:38 PM
maybe its just for show, or maybe Honda's making Farr run a hell of alot of circuits this year.

I was there and here is what i believe happened i believe Farr brought 2 bikes and during his qualifier he blew up his MX quad so he drug his TT bike off and did some small mods and ran it not sure but during his heat or qualifier dont remember which the quad smoked pretty good

cody anderson
02-24-2004, 06:56 AM
he didn't blow it up, he blew a shock line...

Andrew400ex
02-24-2004, 05:59 PM
so why did he run TT tires still? why not swap tires? and he still won?:huh

cody anderson
02-25-2004, 07:10 AM
because the dirt is so hard packed, plus with a 10" wheel you will get less side wall flex around corners, there were a couple other people using tri tracks too. They aren't true TT tires, they are made for stadium racing.

I messed around and missed the round in Houston last year. Some friends went and said it was awsome. I wanted to get an early start this year so I wouldn't miss out again. Now it sounds like I may! :grr:

The Schedule normally isn't announced till November, so everyone hang tight because I even heard a major factory sponsor may be onboard for this coming year if everything comes together.
