that new honda sure does look good but i saw that thing run in St. Louis and needless to say I WAS NOT IMPRESSED ONE BIT !! the word from mark(baldwin) was that it blew a shock line !! haha Yeah right !! from the looks and sound of the motor the damn thing blew up not once but TWICE !! it ROLLED SMOKE out from the engine compartment !! and im talking really really bad !! farr had to push it off the track once if im not mistaken i got a kick out of it im a honda fan dont get me wrong but since they announced this thing i have felt that it was rushed out to compete with yammi !!

I was there and saw that too. Mine's good so far and I have a 4 year warranty on it.

JHForman250R do you really think they rushed this bike to compete with the yamaha. Get real. I heard rumors about this bike way over a year ago. And it was funny when I then saw the announcement in one of the quad magazines that yamaha was coming out with a 450. And this was like 8 months after I heard honda was making a new quad. Im sure the bike was tested before release. Besides does any bike come out of the factory perfect? Was the 250r back in the day perfect from the factory no problems? Im not trying to start a fight but seriously why anyone would think they just **** this bike out is beyond me. :devil:

if the shock line blows, you will see alot of smoke im sure.

but if it was the motor, keep in mind, its nowhere near stock. im sure they have been trying all kinds of new things for that motor and maybe something didnt turn out how they planned

It had several things missing. I dont' think it was even farrs quad. Looked like a new 450R with some parts thrown on and some taken off, with #4 plates.:rolleyes:

Im sure it was far from stock and im not saying its a POS or anything i like the quad and all i can say it is about time that the manufacturers are getting back into it !! all im saying is that it didnt just smoke once it did it twice !! im not saying that honda built this thing over night all im saying is i dont think they were ready !!

It was possibly a test Mule, they probably are using it at DG Performance to build parts off of. May explain why the pedal was missing, they are introducing a new line of billet parts, the R&D guys prolly took it off to build from.

I Also noticed some other diffrences from Farr's. Like the mounting of the shock Resovoirs, front bumper, other stuff. Also the Nerfs looked like they had never been used.

Funny, I am standing 12 inches from the thing and didn't notice the missing parts.

That's because that is not farrs quad. It might have the #4 plate on it but I bet his *** has never touched that seat..:cool:

PS..the fenders were definitly cut because there was red plastic powder all over the frame and frontend from when they cut it. I thought it was a piss poor display honestly..:(

i belive that was a jb front end on it. and farr has so many 450r's it probably is his, even if it hasnt been rode. i rode at an indoor track in andover ohio with him and he had jb's front end and swingarm on it. i know he doesnt race with that front end but i know he has AT LEAST one quad with it on there.
