i am in the market for picking up a set of aftermarket shocks for my 250R. I was wondering what would be the best shocks that i could get without paiding big bucks for. I am looking for a shock that will drop my ride height and just have a good feel to them. I mostly woods ride and sometime race the track.

umm a shock that is rated at the top of the shock chain in quality, availability and price...offers a fast turn around time and comes highly recommended by me....ELKA:p

I have elkas on my R and really like them. I say they are the best shocks for the money. They are in the same class as axis and pep yet aremuch cheaper. With elka you can get your shocks set up any way you want to.

Unless your a serious rider, you probably won't even know the difference between elka and axis. I would go with elka, that's what I did and I love them. I've never heard anyone say any bad things about elkas. Not that no one ever has, but around here, people state their opinions like nobody's business!!

if there ever was a problem with them that i have heard about it has awlays gotten fixed soon too with no hassle by elka...if I was serious about racing i would probably ditch these revalved works & rear shocks for some of these.....its just hard to put all that money into them when im just a recreational trail rider.

Another nice thing about Elka is that they offer Economy shocks that fits most peoples budgets as well as top of the line race shocks.
