Need to go Faster...What kit to buy?

OK, I'm sure there's posts already on this subject, but I'm new to this so bear with me. I have a stock 2000 400EX, whcih is a great trail riding bike. But I've had it long enough to know that it needs a little pick-up for power. SO, give me some advice on high compression pistons, big bore kits, etc, etc. We mostly trail ride and I hear a lot of good about the 440 big bore kit. for those who have modified their engine, what should I get and what will it cost. Also, if you've had problems with a particular set up that I should stay away from. THANKS!!

All of you questions have been answered on here at least 100 times.Take some time and use the search option. There are so many good threads, you just have to find them. Threads can move pretty fast on the boards so they are lost fast.

What I would do for power is 11:1 piston $135, and HRC cam $270, pipe $?, good air filter, and jet kit, you will be very happy with the results.
