well 2nd period a lady came on the announcements at mine and tommy 17's school... they said it was a code yellow lock down... we have no clue whats goin on... bomb treat... kid with a gun... someone died... etc... all we know is we are stuck in the library right now... we aren't allowed to leave... tommys right by me... god i hope its nothing...

Well tom and i just looked out the window and theres about 6 cop cars and a borough truck just sitting there like they flew in. My teacher yelled at us for opening the blind and let it slip that things could come flying through the window.

i think this is serious... bc everytime they get on the loud speaker u can tell theirs something wrong in their voices... they are really shaky... theres more cop cars now... and its been 2 periods... we never had a lock down like this before... this is no joke... i opened up the blind to look out the window and the teacher who is our mayor also flipped out on me... hes like this is serious... he got a phone call a little bit ago and u could just tell something was wrong... i think someones missing in the school and they think hes got a gun from the lil hints the teachers been giving us...

well i'm alive... and home....


i guess a black kid (1 of 2 in our school go figure) robbed a guy in our town... stole oxy cotton and was trippin out on them... he had a gun and was gonna kill everyone... i was sittin in the library (worst place bc everytime u hear of a school shooting its in the library) flippin out... they called a code gold lock down (noone can leave the room... doors locked... windows covered... blinds down...) this wouldn't have been a problem... but u could just hear in the ladies voice there was something wrong... u could hear fear... and it freaked us out...

i looked out the window opened up the blind and there was cop cars everwhere... at that point i was scared ****less... about 2 periods went on of us sittin there... noone had any clue what was goin on... they got the kid and the gun and stuff b4 he hurt anyone... for 2 periods all i was waiting for was a gun shot etc... nothing happened they called a all clear and we went to our next period... as we were walkin down the hall i noticed 2 police officers with AR-15 assult rifles... at that point i relized something happened... the kid was in my study hall which i left... if i woulda stayed in study hall and not went ot the library to read a magazine i woulda been right there if he woulda opened up on everyone... then i was in the next room down the hall to get shot at...

i just found out from my dad now (who works at the school) what happened and why... they wouldn't let anyone know... i thought that was b.s.

well it turns out there was a kid who robbed a guy in town and stole some oxy's and stuff like that. He also stole his gun and they though he might have it in school. They took it real serious the cops had ar-15's when we went down by the office. the lockdown lasted about 3 periods and i missed physics so something good did come out of all of this.

Wow, that sucks. Im so afraid of guns. I always think that I could be walking down the street and someone could just shoot me outta no where. Or I think atleast once a day.. that any kid could come to school with a gun and shoot everyone. After I watched a movie called Home Room, i've been freaked out. One day at school I told this boy named billy I was "sorry" because my friends and I always seem to make fun of him all the time. So if he decided to one day come to school with a gun I wouldn't be on his list of jerks to kill. Im a lot nicer to kids at my school now, exspecially the ones who I see that get made fun of all the time. The kids in the lunch room who sit and play with movie cards all lunch? The kids who dont talk to anyone at all... Sometimes I will try and talk to them and they will NEVER talk to me. And its a horrible thing to say but those are the kids im scared for. :confused:

I also knew this kid named Alex who hung himself in his garage when he was home by himself, so when his parents came home and went to pull in the garage, they saw him hanging there. Things like that dont seem real to me. Seems like something that would happen on a scary movie or something. I mean even I've had thought about killing myself but I would probably never do it. It's sad that kids can actually get to that point, where they think its a good way to solve all their problems.:scary:

damm..my town is really boring...but i think that is good...but the town near me...u cant walk down the street to ur friends house..even if its 4 houses down by urself...so u can only travel in 3's....and at least have an adult wit u...its a scary town.and the town has a curfew for kids under the age of 16...u have to be inside by dark...or u can get some kind of warning or fine its weird

we have lock downs almost week...once or twice...one time we couldnt leave the class for 4 perids..and we missed lunch

we had some dude like that in the town i used to live in near pittsburgh that spazzed out on crack & oxy and tried to break into 26 cars along the street in our small town. i was in a bar at the time so i didn't see, but eyewitnesses say after trying to break into a bunch of cars he ran up to my old toyota trk and saw my stereo, picked up a brick from some lady's yard and threw it at the window. It bounced off the window and hit him in the chest so he went around to the driver's side threw the brick again and they said it hit him in the face :huh .......at that point he gave up and went to the next car which had the keys in it, drove it about 100' down the road and hit a telephone pole :huh he totaled the car and took off running until a buddy of mine cornered him and held him on somebody's porch with a 9mm (which seemed to calm him down) until the cops came. that retard still never paid for my windows cause he has no money and still has to pay off the lady's car he totaled (she was screwed cause the car was uninsured at the time) i'm pretty sure all he got was like 24mos probation even though he stole a car??

Dont worry about it, I didnt even know her for one... AND you didnt know...

I think if you fail a suicide it is more a cry for attention then suicide... OR your just on a lot of drugs...

It's easy to dismiss depression as weak character until you know/love someone with it, and see the improvement that treatment can make.
