Honestly, how far do you guys think it's possible to go in xc racing with a stock 400ex. I know everyone is always saying it's the rider, not the quad. But in all honesty, you know Bill Ballance isn't going to be going out and winning the championship on a stock 400ex. Just curious what you guys think.

A stock 400EX is capable of winining in the following classes easily, 4 stroke stock,Open B, 4 Stroke B. It would be tough to win an A class on a stock 400EX. My brother got third in 4 Stroke A on a bone stock EX that still had the stock pipe and airfilter on it. All he had on the quad was a set of 6 ply tires and some handlebars.
