I just broke holes in both my front and rear fenders and snapped a fender brace in my first cross country race this season and was wondering if this is normal. Any suggestions? I've never raced cross country on quads until now, just bikes. Do I need aftermarket plastic or extra supports???

Its pretty normal if there is a bunch of mud. Try spraying the fenders down with wd 40 or armoral or something before the race so the mud doesn't stick as easy.

Aftermarket plastic is a little thicker though.

That race was very muddy. Thanks.

I used my plastic welder and welded a metal washer in where the mounting holes are. Its now about a half inch thick and has not broken since.

My plastic also cracked there. And broke in half there.(I sinced have renamed my 400 mr floppy)I don't have very good luck with ex plastic.(400 or 300)It was just a good reason to order new front and rear oem.And a factory effex graphics kit and seat cover.

(Wonder what I am going to do when I break plastic with 50 dollar stickers on them?)
