Need jetting help

hey i am getting a dg rcm pipe for my 250x and was wondering if i need to jet the carb? If i do what do i need to get because they do not make a jet kit for a 250x. :(

You don't need to buy a whole jet kit anyway.It is a waste of money.All you are going to use is one or two of the jets and the rest of em will sit on the shelf collecting dust.If all you are doing is adding a pipe I would just go up one size on the main jet and raise your needle one notch.Put in a new plug and give it a test run and read your plug.This should get you very close.Hope that helped you a little.

I got a main jet that is 3 sizes bigger so now how much should i go on the needle?
