thank you! :D that's her and her sister (we were babysitting) and we were out in the driveway washing my Jeep - they kept wanting to play in the hose (it was only about 55 degrees out) so they were being nosey and just sat there and criiiied.

we are looking to get another big dog - how big is Bob? He is a St. Bernard, right? I see he is HUGE - how much does he weigh? Daisy is about 125 now. How is the drool-factor?

Niki bob is the best dog ive ever owned next 2 my 2 rotties that the EX got to keep ( it was only fair i get kids he gets dogs) drool facter is gross but only bad when he's hot~im learning leave a towel nearby~ very easy to train VERY patient and tolerant of kids~ and popular wherever he goes but i keep hearing that they dont have a long life span usually 8 years max~ bob was 1 year in december and is 135 pds. and believe it or not he eats the same amount as any other dog ive had but the back yard has some big nasty landmines~ i will always have a ST. now ~bob is the best!

Here's my buddy, Cody. She's been a very good dog, always kept in the house. And Kim, don't pay attention to how long they tell you a dog may live! Siberian Huskys aren't supposed to have a long life-span, but mine was 14 in December, and still going strong! ;) My fondest memory is one time I was working on my truck in the garage, lying on a tarp. I didn't even notice, she came out and laid down beside me, she's very curious, and follows me everywhere. When the wife and I split the first time, I came home and the dog wasn't in her usual place, sitting on the top of the steps waiting for me... I cried like a baby... I'm really gonna miss her, she'll go with my soon to be ex for good this time. :(

Now I've got some sort of mixed breed. She was abandoned so we took her in. The pics got lost when my old PC crashed but she's a Wippet/Spaniel mix and I've a black/white cat that was born without a tail. The mother gave birth in our woodpile and then was killed so my wife and I took this one and the neighbors took the others.

I bet it's more like they take him for a walk! :D He could wring out the towel over his head when he gets hot! One thing I'm glad of with my dog, she doesn't slobber. I never did hook her up to a sled, guess by now if I did she'd be like WTF?

Cool, I'd like to see a pic. ;) Not sure what my next dog would be... I lke my husky, but I thought maybe a golden retriever. One habit I"ll miss with my dog... I've always fed her Purina dog chow, when she starts to eat, she'll pull out a nugget, fling it across the room and growl like hell at it! Also when you throw a ball for her, she throws it back! Rider11x thought that was the neatest thing. :)

BTW, just an FYI for all you folx who have or a getting a puppy and will crate train them. DO NOT put a collar on them with tags on them when you put him/her in their cages. They could potentially hang them selves with them. I know of two poeple that came home and found their little dogs strangled to death by their own collar. Be smart. Either get a brake away collar or take the collar off when putting them in the crate. Even for a few minutes. Trust me. YOu dont not want to see this when you come home.

I second that motion - I strongly suggest microchipping your pet instead of tags - all humane societys and vets check for this if a pet is brought in...We never leave her outside unattended-she was rather expensive-but one day I was messing around outside and she was on our porch and she saw something run under the deck and was trying to get at it between the slats - her tag got caught and we caught her just intime , she got scared and kept twisting around and her collar about choked her to death- her eyes are still bloodshot in someplaces 2 years later - it was totally one of the saddest days, I felt like such a bad mommy.

I swear by brake away collars. THey come apart real easy when they get tangled up. There is a provision for you to hook the leash up to and it wont brake away but we never use it. We always use a harness. It's a little friendlier to the little guy.

He's almost a year & half old. So we're past the worst of the pup stage, but he's still got plenty of pup left in him. He's a full bread beagle, has been a good dog. Is definately an attention whore. Probably one of the smartest dogs I've owned, perhaps too smart at times.:p

We're getting ready to get a Dogue de Bordeaux(french mastiff) pup here real soon. His daddy's at 180lbs!:D
Looks about like this one...
