Academic Award Program 2nd Quarter

As many of you know and some do not, EXriders has a Academic Awards program. If you are in highschool or below, and make all A's for the quarter, you can send in your report card and recieve a prize donated by companies for this program.
As of now, I will be taking over the handling of receiving report cards. You can scan your report card and email a copy to me, or mail a copy it to me.

Some of you have already sent yours to the Administrator and he has them. There is no need to send another copy to me.

If you have not sent in your report card for the second quarter
(appx 9 weeks), now is the time to do it. You have until March 1st to get them to me for 2nd quarter prizes.

Send it in now so you will be eligible for awards given by companies. Theres all kinds of quad related good stuff.

my highest grade this year (grade 10) is i think 68, my lowest is 51 :D

i could never make striahgt A's.....between b-ball, work, riding, actually doing stuff with friends, high school kids dont have as much time to do our homeork these days...i try my hardest though...

what about my report card from the first grading period, im in accelerated classes and got a 4.1 GPA all A's and a B+ in an accerlerated class so it is worth an A,just says b on card, what exactly do you get? thanx a lot

Good question, i'll check on that for you. I would say if you got all A's, send it on to me so I can get the ball rolling on awards.

i sent u my report card sga. asi asked before, do B+ in an accerlerated class that are worth 4.00 credits considered an A? i have a 4.4 in 1st grading period and 4.6 in second, i worked very hard and i think my 2 B+ should be considered an A since they are worth all the points of an A thank you

Harlen (administrator) has been swamped with running the site, so I took over the report cards/awards recently. I have received many report cards and have them filed.
I will be meeting Harlen at the race tommorow (2-29-04) in Florida and will clear up any questions I have about the achievment program. I will be back on monday and answer all questions.

Yamahablaster24...... I may be wrong, but it is impossible to get higher than a 4.0. You are suppossed to add up your score (A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1 F=0) and divide by the number of classes you took. The highest possible grade point average is 4.0, even if you take 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 classes in one term......the highest you can get is a 4.0

Jekyl, I could be wrong, but I think some advanced classes are worth more than a 4.0. Seems like I've seen it before in other states.

Here are the rules for the achievement awards program.

You must be in grades 6-12.

You must receive all 'A's" on your report card to be eligable for achievment awards. B+ is NOT accepted, even if your GPA shows higher than a 4.0

Achievement awards will be given four times per year.

You must make all A's ALL 4 quarters to be eligible for the year end grand prize award. Only one student will win the year end grand prize and the winner will be chosen by random draw.

The number of winners will be determined by the available prizes, and we hope to have something for everyone with Straight A's.
Winners are chosen by random drawing.

Grades must be sent in by:

First quarter grades Dec 1st

Second quarter grades March 1st

Third quarter grades May 15th

Final quarter grades Aug 1st

For those of you that receive report cards six times per year, send in the last report card you receive before the current quarters dead line.
Winners will be announced approxmately 2-3 weeks after deadline. Good luck everyone and remember, even if you cant enter the achievement contest, you are still a winner for getting the best grades that you can.

I just wanted to say this program is great. I am a teacher in PA and many of my students have quads. I think i'll pass this information on to them. Very impressed with Exriders right now.

Sense I know an admin will read this, what is the final destination of the project EX? For sale, auction, exriders drawing, or we building a museum for it. I've just always wondered who gets that sweet ride?

hey, im still not sure you got me report card? i resent it a week or two ago.

at are school we have grades 90-100 as A's i got all 90's + and got a 92.65 average.what are the guidelines because we don't have it so it says A.

There are some schools, including universities, that use a 5 point scale instead of a 4 point. I'm not sure how they work it, but I know I have seen it.

our school doesnt even do a 4.0, 5.0, etc.. system. They just go by % out of 100. It works well until you have a grade that is over 100.
