Rear kenda klaw tires

Just wondering I see alot of people putting on there rear tires on different ways I see the tread moving backwords this way <<<< and some moving fowards this way >>>>> which way are you suppost to put on. I heard both are ment for different type of terrain

I just got a set but haven't ridden them yet.
Tractor style is for Hard Pack
Opposite (front ex tire pattern) is for Soft
I'm probable gonna leave mine on Hard Pack because they look alot better. I don't think there will be a big difference in handling.
