whats up guys and girls. I'm new to the forum and just wanted to ask you guys some questions. I have a 99 400ex that i just bought and was wondering about what types of aftermarket accesories I should get for it. I wanting to do all the routine things like sprokets, chains, pipe, tires, and piston. I do 95% of my riding on trails and maybe a few jumps. I thank you all for your responses.

If you have not decided on a pipe, I would recomend a White Bros e-series. I love mine. Alot of others will tell you hmf and it is also awsome. But I have no complaints about my WB. Just my $.02. Have Fun!!! :p

If your getting new sprockets and you ride in trails, you might want to consider a 14t front sprocket.. or some other sprocket set up other then stock.

For a chain I like D.I.D. x/o-ring chains... Good luck!:blah:

Also if theres any one out there near WV that wants to get together and ride let me know.

I have Pro Armor everything and I really have been impressed with the durability and good looks. My swingarm armor has been through some really rough stuff and it has held up good. I have the Factory Effex graphics and love them too. Take a look at the Big Gun race full system, you can't go wrong there.

If you go with a WB pipe, you can get a White Bros graphics kit and seat cover. They are made by ceet and are awesome. I love mine! I just got it a couple of months ago, but so far it is great!!!

If some one knows how to post pics I have some with this kit on it. Pm me and I can e-mail them to you for now if you want to see them. Thanks:cool:

If you're going to be getting a piston you might as well get a cam to go with it.

thats true you really don't want to have that thing frozen in place.I would get some decent skids first, then a nice slip on pipe, and go from there,if you plan on doing motor work i would do the suspension first, take a look in the for sale section in here, some people have good deals on parts for the 400
