All of these mags keep commenting on the light front end on the 450r..................How does it compare with the 400ex in this way? I think the 400ex is great the way it is, and the YFZ I was on seemed to have a much longer swingarm, as the front end was more planted than my 400ex, but almost too much for my liking.

I think it feels similar to my 400ex... But of corse with the extra power it comes up a lot easier...

IMO, I wouldnt have it any other way...

IMO i think the front end is light if you want it to be.. i did some trail riding today and some hill climbing and could lift the front if i wanted.. but i could keep it down buy either throttle jockeying or a little body english. but however you do it it is controlable..

When I rode the 450r I had no trouble keeping the front down on the ground but if you wanted the front end up you have no trouble there either.

So very similar handling to the 400, but with more power. That's gotta be great!

Not a problem It makes rideing it fun. Also it make the whoops really nice. Just lean back throttle it up and keep the front end up and it make the whoops dissapear. Works really good!

Plus that light front end and those viscious front brakes get me outta sooooo many OH SH*T spots. lol I've been raceing for 15 yrs and i think im faster on this right out of the box(with HRC kit). I had to retrain myself on were to start braking.
