What kind of power gains can I expect to get from a wiseco 11:1 std bore piston and a hotcam stage 2. Also with this setup and my setup in my sig will i notice a loss in bottom end power? Thanks for the help.

you will notice a nice difference especially at mid to high rpms. if you are concerned with tight technical areas where bottom end is a must, you could put in a stage 1 cam. the stage 2 cam will just require you to use the clutch more when riding slow.

I wouldn't say i ride in tight technical areas but i do ride slow on occasions through trails but not often i am usually wide open on trails. I also ride a track that is open and one that is pretty tight. I also ride a lot of paved roads at my hunting camp. Is the stage 2 right for me?

i think either one will work. my friend has a stage 1 and he got increases everywhere. my stage 2 mainly gave me mid to topend increases. i think a stage 2 will be fine if thats what you leaning towards. for best power with the stage 2 you just need to keep the rpms up. if you stay with stock gearing and a stage 2, you should be fine. i just wouldn't raise your gearing or you will loose too much drivability for trail riding.

i had basically the same set up you are going to get last year. makes for a nice ride. go with the stage 2. i geared mine down for xc racing, but you probably wont have to.

Im no Mickey Dunlop. Ive only build two different motors, but you will notice the difference.

Your set up sounds good. If you that concerned about bottom end, you can keep the stage 2 cam and go up in compression. Say a 12.5.1 or even a 13.1....just an idea.

Ive gotta a 12.5.1 in mine now. I wish I went with a 13.1

Good luck and let us know what you decide!
