last night at the arena cross here in lethbridge Albt. Jeff Fehr the number 1 canadian freestyle rider thew down some backies along with a bunch of other tricks. First time i had every seen a backflip in person. it was totally gnarly.

i was reading another post about this topic and someone said it had been done already by some local or something:rolleyes:

but yeah that would be sick if someone would bust out a flip on a quad

There's a thread on hbombfilms.com about one of Derek Guetters buddies attempting the backflip but there's no pics. if it is true, thats friggin nutty.

yea you have to be frigin nuts to do a backflip on a quad,but you gotta give them props,they got more brains then balls,just hope if anybody will try it they will be safe

i would try to do it into a foam pit but that will still take alot of balls to try it,and over here were the hell is a foam pit?lol

i found a pic on the web where some guy was saposedly tryin a backflip on a 250R... i'd post it but i had it saved on my old comp

I tried about 6 times from a ramp to dirt landing... finally nailed it on the 7th attempt..... then I woke up!:rolleyes:

From what I hear, the backflip was done on a quad, but not by a quad rider..:(

i dont know about a quad but its been done on a snowmobile. go to stupidvideos.com and to the search tab and search for "snowmobile" and click on the snowmobile flip movie. its pretty bad *****.

travis pastrana did the backflip on an lt80 but it was into a foam pit

with a quad you dont really have to worry about the front end washing out on landing. if ya ask me, I would rather try it on a quad than a bike

i think it would be harder to get the back end to come around on a quad.
