I wouldnt say they are worth nothing, you just have to find somebody who wants one. Theres alot of people in the world that doesnt need a brand new 450. Yes racers and all out ATV riders will look at the new quads, but i know many people still love the 250r and the 400ex. Thats a really nice R and i'm sure you could get 3,500+ pretty easy.

3000-4000 depending on running condition

I helped build this quad, It is off the hizzle dizzle lol

Runs great, he spent like 500$ on all the seals, bearings, and bushings. Everything was cleaned, powdercoated or polished, i dont think that the pic's do it justice!

I think 3800-4400

Yeah, this is a little harsh, I think you meant R's and 400's are holding their value anymore, not "Rs and 400exs are worth nothing anymore"......:)

Too bad you don't live here in California. Here you could sell that bike for 4,500-5,000 EASILY. It's ridiculous, I've seen some idiots trying to sell stockish beat R's for 6 here, because there are so few of them. Back east the demand is low, so the price is low... here there is a HUGE demand for R's.

Here it would go pretty quick for $4K. 400ex's aren't worth anything anymore, but R's are still going strong :D

thats because of the sand dunes... u want a 2 stroke for that...

and my comment being harsh... it really isn't it could be worse... they have NO VALUE AT ALL... its a fact... theres nothing on that quad either that makes anything special about it...

that quad would have trouble gettin 2800$ if ur lucky here

People are still getting $3500-$4000 for used 400EX's up here, which isn't much less than the price of a new one. So...I'd say their value is holding just as well as any other used quad. And the 250R's are worth their weight in gold....especially one that is close to stock. It's a nice clean slate for someone to turn into a sweet dune quad. Those things go easily over $4000. You don't buy a quad as an investment...none of the money that gets dumped into it will you ever get back. (but that doesn't stop us from spending alot of cash on shiny parts and go fast stuff) If you sell one that's only a year or two old, you'll lose your shorts, but if you hang onto one for 4-6 years (or longer) you've gotten your money's worth out of it, and whatever you get when you sell it is gravy. If you buy a 250R now...it's fairly cheap (compared to a $7000 first year model), but...you won't lose any money on the deal, except for all the extra crap you put into it. I dunno...half the fun of having a quad is customizing it to how you want it. So buying a quad that has "NO VALUE AT ALL" actually has some value to it...extra money for modifications. There's alot of 400EX's out there that blow the doors ff of the new 450R's.

One day R's will be worth so much. They started the whole sport. Now for you idiots to sit here and say its worthless is dumb. If Honda didnt make it you wouldnt have what your new quads are today and IMO, ME, MYSELF . I will beable to keep up with all the new bikes on the track, I wont have a problem at all. When your in the PRO levels yes maybe the 4-stroke has an advantage but for the average racers there is no advantage.
