Spark plug

Has anyone used a split fire spark plug in there 400ex? Is this possible? If so did you have to make any mods? did it help in performance? any input would be helpful

most people i have talked to say those are junk. i only use ngk's in my 400ex. i have used champions in my other bike and they seemed to work just as good. i have been told that the split fires aren't worth it so i didn't even try one.

Stick with the regular NGK plugs. You'll never need another brand.
I will never buy Champions, those things are junk, especially for 2-strokes. I had to change my plug every week with Champions in my Banshee, switched to NGK and I never had a problem again...lasted a few months until I switched to the more expensive Iridiums which have lasted me over a year:D .
