Razr MX vs Klaw MXF..

Ok I can get a full set of each for the same price..

Which should I go with?

Here is what I am looking for..

#1. Longevity....can't be toast after 2 races..

#2 Tractions... I ride R'.. I NEED TRACTION! lol..


I have heard of Razr MX's lasting forever..

My friend got a set of Kenda's soonafter they came out... they were toast after 2 races and a day at Rausch (given that Rausch definitely eats tires though..)



If I can't decide, I guess I'll leave the tamers and radials on..

i think both are really nice tires, its almost preference from there, i hope klaws dont wear out that quick because thats the tire i was thinking of getting

I like the klaw but i wish itp would make there mx version tire in a four ply liek the klaws!

Well, there's two different kinds of klaws. You have the MX version, which is a soft compound and probably won't last that long. Then there's the XC version, which is what I have. I don't think there's a tire out there that will outlast these! My buddy has a set of Knarly's, also made by Kenda, that's over two years old and still has 95% tread left!! And he always rides on the road!

There's only 1 REAL TIRE out right now, and in my opinion it's KENDA !!!

I was in the same situation, klaws or razors these guys talked me into the klaws I also wanted a long lasting tire. my klaws will be here on the 19th:devil:

klaws are probably the better tires, but i have heard the RAzr mx's hook up better? but that the klaws last longer... but this is just wat i heard

How do the klaws slide. Too much, not enough or just right? I like the way my 20"razr's slide but the stock 400EX tires slide too much. My buddy wants new tires for his 400 and he wants me to pick them out for him.

Yes, they are reversible. One way for soft and the other way for hard. In the pic below, they are turned the soft way...

I had Razrs on my old 250x and they never wore down and i rode on street a lil out front of my house and hard pacted dirt
They are also good in mud

i love my razr mx, would recommend them, they do great in every condition and slide when i want them too. the only thing i dont really like them in, is snow, but i dont think your gunna have to worry about that on the track.:devil:
