Need Help!

i am putting handlebars on my R and i want to know how to remove the key switch from the plastic without cutting the plastic. i got the oil light out. i figured that one out but i can not get the key switch out of the plastic.
do you have to loosen the other end of the key switch to get it out?
anyone that can help, it would much pleased!

There are tabs on the bottome that you have to press in to get it out. They are fairly big so you should see them.

or you can just take that 8mm bolt out and just unplug it. there is enough slack to let you moveit around. look a little deeper on this page or the next and it tells you which wires to connect for a kill switch and what to connect so the electronice will work.
