400EX plastics on a 300EX

I want to know if it fit over the frame good and what you have to do to make it work. Do you have to make your own mounts or do you just use 400EX mounts? Need help from somebody that did it before.

i think some mounts are in the wrong spot.

i think that the back will bolt right to a 300ex seat
and the front all u need is a small 'L' shaped braket to hook to your 300 mounts .

I have some Red 400ex FULLBORE plastics and 400ex seat, that i had on my 300ex for sale for $250+shipping. Has graves seat cover. Only thing is there is a burn hole in it from my exhaust.
