I am headin' to Glamis next weekend. I want more power to cruise the dunes and do the big hill climbs. What should I do, Sparks key, 14T front sprocket or both? My bike has an aluminum airbox (no lid), Uni filter, WB slip on and is jetted (155/42). What do you guys think?

the key won't give much power, it will just make the throttle response feel a little more crisp. a 14 tooth front sprocket will harm your top speed. i don't know if that is what you want or not. i found out by trail and error with some drag racing that a 14 tooth front sprockets hurts your speed from 3rd gear on up. it was nice in the first 2 gears but a stock 400ex started pulling on another stock 400ex with a 14 tooth sprocket in 3rd gear. however, it is great for tight technical sections. my opinion, it would be fine in short drag races or tight areas or where low end power is wanted. if you like the speed in the upper gears, you won't have as much as you do with stock gearing.

20x11/10 GBC Sand Sharks @ 8psi. Last trip with the new jetting, it ran way better than the previous trip. I weight 200+ lbs so I need a little more umph out of it to do the big hills. I was also going to bump up the psi to 9.
