how do you guys take like a picture of a stock 400ex from the honda web site, and change it to like green or orange, but have like all the shadows and stuff perfect?????? what tool for photoshop or tools??? i think there was a topic a LONG time ago that explained it, but i cant find it....any help?? thanks....i just got photoshop, but i know a lil about it....

do a search, and type in photoshop, then click on photoshop hints or photoshop tips for more.....basically, find an image, such as a 400ex off of the honda web site, and then open it in photoshop....click on the magic wand tool...choose a color on the left(you will see the color square in your toolbar) once you click the magic wand tool somewhere on the plastic, it should select an area, and then you go to edit -> fill and then click on foreground color, soft fill.....then keep filling if it doesnt look as dark/light as you want....just play around with fill and you will figure it out....makes it look just like an original.....

heres a pic of one of our grass/rescue trucks....used to be red, trying to find a new color scheme....i think im gunna do some "ghettoing" of it, drop it, put some spinners on it, etc...i havent really worked with taking parts of one image and pasting them, but it should be cool....

how do you do text effects??? all i know how to do is change the font and size...how do you do all those fancy things to the words??? what tool(s)??? thanks....im trying to make a new logo, and regular words dont look good enuff....im using photoshop 6.0 if that helps...
