Ive got a Long Bed S-10 pickup and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the best way to configure 2 quads in the bed. My friend had told me that he had seen a person stand a pair on their rear wheels with their front tires touching like in an "A". Ive just been putting one quad standing up resting on top of the cab and one behind it w/ the tailgate down but the frame is kinda messing up my cab how irt rests against it . All Suggestions are appreciated.

JCwhitney catalog has some sort of a bed extender. It goes into your hitch and then comes up in an l shape and the creates this plateu behind your tailgate where you can rest the rear wheels of your quad on. pretty nifty but you need a hitch of course.

yeah Ive tried to wrap towels around the frame w/ rope but they always slide down an/or off ...has anyone tried the "A" type configuration? or is it just simpler to rest one ontop of the cab and the other behind w/ the tailgate down?

I would thing that in case of a collision the a frame configuration might send you rolling a little faster since your making yourself a little more top heavy. I'd stick with the one up on the cab and the other level if i where you and get a cheap blanket somewhere and stick that in between.

Get your roof Rhino Lined!! I say a guy that did that to his Dodge Dakota, color matched and everything. Didn't look as bad as it sounds either. It thought it looked good, although I wouldn't do it for no reason, it would keep you from scratching stuff up.
