Getting a 416 kit and I think I need to re-jet. Should I leave the jets that I have in while I break the motor or go up one size? I don't want it lean when I break the motor in. I now have a 155 main and 40 idle, it was jetted good grayish tan spark plug. should I be on the Rich side when breaking in?

I would probally go up to a 160ish main jet, and take it out for a short ride, and then take a quick look at the spark plug to make sure that you are close. After that it is time to break it in, and work on the jetting.

I broke in mine with a 170 main. I am at sea level though so you may be different. I now have a 168 with a 42 pilot.

Thanks Glamis, I'll probably go the the 170 and 42 like you cause I'm at 70' so that's not far off from you.
I can't wait to get it back together:D
