I saw a post on www.quadconnection.com that says it will be an early released 2006 model for next summer not this summer.

I wonder if there will be a DVX450??? I just wish suzuki would offer an upgrade kit for us 400 owners so we don't feel like we have the 2nd best. But, I imagine it will be a whole new quad and engine, without reverse. Oh well, I can always get a wiesco 450 kit, cams, and FCR carb. And I will still have reverse!

My nephew works @ a Suzuki shop here & I'm sure he said this summer :macho he says we should wait on the yammi or the honda to check this one out so we'll just have to see!!!

NTPracing22, yes I do. And I love it. The seat is a tad frimer than the Z or KFX, and the fenders are a little smaller, but neither causes any major issues. I like the looks. It is different than all the other quads. And, being a "Z", there are tons of mods for it and it rides great! I sometimes wish I'd held out for the 450R, but then I remember that I am not going to be doing any serious racing anytime soon, so the DVX is all good. And, I have plans to make it a 450 anyway, and it should outrun the current stock 450's when I get all the mods done. And, I will still have reverse.

I thought the bike wasn't going to hit the dealers til August. If this is true the quad a year off for sure.

Why does the bike have to be out before the quad? Just because that's how the YFZ and TRX were doesnt mean the Suzuki will be.

just the way the companies do it. They've been working on the bike longer so it makes sence to put it out first

none taken-but i stand corrected. I don't know for a fact they haven't been working on the new quad longer than the bike-but the bike has been in magazines since a few years ago-from scetches to prototypes. nothing aobut the quad yet though

however, yamaha never said anything about thier yfz and they had been working on that since the yz400f came out. Time will tell

yeah it'd deffinetly help thier sales IMO. I hope kawasaki does something different to it besides color changes like Arctic cat did with the DVX

atv actions editor met with suzuki's engineers, they asked him what the average sport riders look for in a quad.Reverse and electric start were discussed.Nice to see a company that cares about what we think. They said late summer:D

i think they have to care what we think, we're the buyers and if we don't like something, we don't buy it plain and simple

I remember waiting months for the 400.I can imagine the same with the 450.I wouldn't expect to see it this year. But thats just what i think.nothing to back it up.No $ to upgrade anyways :(
