I still have my 1993 honda 300ex i am rebuilding. If anyone wants a cheap quad that is almsot complete, this would be it. Details:

Quad was recently swapped over from 1993 300ex I have owned for 7 years. Got a new frame, and the quad is about 90% complete as a roller. By complete, I mean "assembled", all parts are there still. I have BRAND NEW front and rear axle bearings and seals, and also rebuilt the swingarm bearings when I swapped frames. Everything else is stock on the quad. plastics are in ok shape as well. Front tires are excellent condition Fast trekkers and rears are Tiger Paws in good shape as well (stock rims).

The motor....

Needs a clutch, and I was planning on getting the engine rebuilt but I have almsot EVERYTHING needed (part wise) to rebuild this motor. It will need a new clutch, thats what prompted my interest in the rebuild List:

(when I say "NEW" it means new in the box, un-installed)

NEW Wiseco 40 over piston (stock bore currently)
NEW HD valve springs
TC mx cam
NEW DID timing chain
NEW K&S gasket set
hardened rockers

I'll also throw in the factory manual and service manual as wel as a Yosh slip on pipe. The quad is located in Chicagoland area and can be viewed in person, or when I get pics up hosted. I am pretty firm on price, but I accept paypal as well so if you got a bold offer and paypal, we can work somethin out :) College books aren't gettin cheaper

Is the cylinder bad or why did you get a .040 over piston if its now on stock bore?

The engine still runs good, but I opted for a 40 over piston because it was only 69.99 and so was the next size. I figured a few extra cc's, plus it has the TC cam, so I needed to up compression a lil and replace the piston anyways.

The motor is together and runs good, but the clutch is shot. Its out of the (frame) in the pic because I haven't mounted it in the ew frame. I really need 2000 bux for this SWEET Old Bravada I need and will just buy a 250 or a different quad in the spring.

so it just needs new clutches, or does it need a basket too, and after that is fixed its ready to run

I am guessing the basket can be cleaned up and all it needs is plates. Its the stock clutch thats finally went after 10 years of riding. Motor has never been opened up since the factory.
