Looking to get a chest protector. Never had one before, just looking for others to comment on the fit and comfort of some available.

I'm 6 foot, 235 pounds...if it makes any difference

What's good for the money??

I got a Thor Scattershield and it's not to bad. It's pretty light weight, and pretty comfy. As far as the weight thing... they are very expandable. But overall I like it.

I have an Answer Edge, only one i've had, fits well and was easy to get used to. There have been a couple of times I glad I had it on ;)

Go to the local shop and try some on and see what fits the best then order from the cheapest place. If you want to save some $$ look for close-outs and last years models.

Aceribis Zoom 2! Great for big guys! I'm 6'2" @265 and it fits really good! Comfortable! Has side panels also! Black is the best looking color in them IMO.

I got the fox air frame a while ago. It's comfertable for a chest protector. But still not to wild on the whole chest protector thing.

I got a large, if your chest and shoulders diameter is more then 55inches then go with an xl.

My only complaint is that the shoulders need to be a bit wider. Other then that it is comfertable, for a chest protetor.................
