hey i going to get a 450r in the 2weeks and was wondering if i put +3 a arms will i have to get new shocks or can i just set the shocks stiff as possible.

You will only be able to go +2 the bike will be to wide with +3 the stock shocks work good with +2 I let the owner of Honda of Stillwater race my practice bike at glen helen and he finished 4 in production C with this setup. I have not had time to ride it with setup yet but he said it worked good

why would it be to wide. if i get 4+1 of set it would put it at 50 inches i think. but i dont no alot so ill take your word for it.

Your width will also depend on your shock setup. If you run 0 preload you are going to be wider cause your arms have more sag.

So, keeping the stock 450R front shocks, you can go +2 on the a-arms?

Are there any drawbacks to this?
Do you have to change anything else to do this? brake lines, tie rods, etc?

Your width may also depend on your wheel offset. Most wheels are the same though arn't they

If you race you HAVE to get +2 a-arms because or you will be over 50 inches
