I recently put a set of renthal's on my 400.Now I am wondering if I should keep the stock cover that goes in the middle of the handlebars.Of course you wont be able to screw it on there anymore.I was thinking about taking a little ziptie and putting it on there.I know it would hold and you couldn't tell.I think it looks unfinished without it.My buddy said he thought the same thing at first but he got used to it.

What do you guys's do?

if you have a bar pad I would say leave it off. It looks better that way .

I put mine back on. It just snapped on and I didnt zip tie or anything. I think it looks cleaner with it on. But that is just my opinion.

leave it off! That's part of the fun of aftermarket parts, to get your dirt sickle to not look stock anymore.
