AIM Combo Kill??

Every ten minutes or so I get about 35 boxies poppin up from AIM asking me to accept messages, accept file transfers, join chats, and connect to talk and stuff...it freezes my AIM and shuts it down and says "AIM combo kill, sorry for the inconvenience" WTF:mad: Anyone else get this caca?

anyways, I've never seen or heard of an error like that... sound like you have a virus or a nasty spybot. :confused:

The screen names are "port7viking" and "pin4Cold." In their infos it says "AIM INVADER"...wtf! I just had exactly 46 of them instant message me..

interesting... I remember WAY back in the day (the first versions of AIM - AOL only) there were ways of knocking people off line if you bombarded them with IM's.... sounds like this is the same thing.

d/l it on kazaa and do it back to them, i dont remember what its called though, you can do that and stuff where it makes there away messages keep turning on sayin some perverted stuff...

yep, I have heard of it and these types of programs have been out since day 1 of IM'ing. Just surprised its still that easy to do...
