Just picked up my Nickel plated parts, check the pics!!!

I just picked up all of my Nickel plated parts except my upper a-arms, which should be ready by the end of the week. I've got pics, but I can't figure out how to post 'em. Can someone post them for me? Also, can someone tell me how to post them so I can do it myself? THANKS:confused:

Yes it is. It's a very easy mod to do.

I got my A-arms, axle, hubs, brake lever, gear shifter, and my countershaft sprocket flange done for $70! They charge by the lot not the peice. In other words, what ever you can fit in one tank cost $35. It took 2 tanks for my parts. As far as weight, Nickel is actually the 2nd to last step in the chroming process so If it is lighter, I don't think it's by much. They said that chrome is kinda like a bluish tinted clear coat over Nickle plating. The Nickle is actually what gives chrome it's shine. Glad ya'll like it.

THANKS !! go make you a test thread then delete it and try this........once you get into your pics ar sonyimagestation, right click the pic then click on properties, then right click the URL then you need to click on select then right click again to copy then, come to exriders, and when you post reply in the IMG box click it and right click the URL copy in that box and your done!

It's suppose to be just as durable as chrome. Cleans just like chrome, rag and soapy water. How durable, I had a bearing surface area that didn't get masked good before plating that a couple of good blows with a hammer wouldn't touch. I had to get the die grinder out and sand it down to get back to the original surface! sounds pretty durable to me!! Oh, BTW QJunkies, I'll try that and thanks for all your help!!;)

Look in your local directories for plating and just call and see if anyone Nickel plates.

How long does it takeand how much does it cost to do that ?:confused: I was thinking about doing that to my Head Pipe:)
