I tried the plug test on the pilot jet no matter how many turns out the plug was always white. it was cold outside around 30 today i warmed up the engine first. then i tried to check the needle and was also white. then i did the main jet and it was chocolate brown after 15 seconds wot. i tried it again for maybe 45 seconds this time it was a light tan color. i usually run in warmer temps so is my bike jetted correctly or not. it runs great right now except the cold starts. after the motor warms up it idles fine.

Plug checks only work for main jets (WOT). Also you shouldn't hold it WOT for 45 seconds, just run up hard through the gears and hit the kill switch and pull in the clutch when it winds out all the way in top gear.
