Well, we decided we are going to putt he zr for sale
its a 1997 arctic cat ZR 580
-Black magic pipe
-ulrtalite skis
-lower smoke windsheild
- and new piston and jug.

How much would this sled be worth. Its in awsome shape, with a 1 1/2" track (maybe a bit bigger)

I would buy it but its a short track eh? I wouldnt be abel to go any where here cuz the guys with long tracks are gett'n stuck. looks like its in good shape good luck selling;)

yeah its a short track, 121" .. the big paddles help it out alot to stay afloat.. but it cant handle the deep stuff like teh 144"s and 151"s can

wish ya lived closer to me.....id buy it......but id say its worth about 1800-2200 dollars american....not sure what that is canadian

Working with the general public and dealing with snowmobile parts and accessories , I have a pretty good judgement as to what you can get for the sled . If you lived here in Ontario ... our winters have been crap for the last 3 years ... I'd say you'd be able to get no more than $3000 Canadian for it . I know it sucks for you , but a great deal for a buyer . Its crazy how much sled sales have dropped , but in the aftermarket parts business , I'd say we've seen probably a 30% increase each year in parts sales . Plain and simple ... the guys are keeping their sleds longer , therefore they need new parts .

you might get $2,000 america for it. Sad but sleds go for cheap, which is great if you are the buyer, but not if your the seller:(
