Anyone ever paint a helmet?

I was thinking of painting a helmet to match my quad. Anyone in here ever paint their helmet? How did it turn out? What paint did you use?

mines painted~ any kinda base coat /clear coat just put some flex agent in the clear coat so the paint doesnt crack easy~ mines taken alot of abuse and held up~

Yes you can paint a helmet and it will hold up fine. I paint helmets all of the time. We use RM Diamont base clear. If your not a painter I would suggest taking it to your local body shop if you want it to look real good. By the time you bought everything needed to paint it you could have paid someone to do it for you. Or you could just spray can it but I wouldn't suggest doing so. :D
