i have a 88 250r with a 85 atc 250 motor, it has boysen reeds and read spacer, k and n filter, and a esr cr 250 igntion, after i put the ignition on it boged in the low end, and now that it is cold it will stall if i dont keep the rpms up, and i cant hold a constant idle, im not sure what size jets the first owner put in, but it ran perfect before the new ignition, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Do you have an intake leak?

check the intake boot between the carb and reeds. Check your reed block and spacer. Visually look for cracks in the boot. If thats okay use some wd 40 or starting fluid spray around the intake and see if you have a change in rpm while the engine is running.
