if your switch is going out it with serge like that try and tracing all the wires that come from and to the switch and see if you find any shorts how that helps !

Just got done istalling mine after many many hassels, came down to a bare wire by the handlebars. The top of the steering stem's underside has a little lip on it. Turning the bars just eventually wore through the wire. Check that and see what happens.

well I think its my CDI going out. It gets really bad when I am in 5th gear tapped out, and I'm not just sitting there spinning on ice. I am on a pavment road. Is there a way to test if my CDI is bad???

I haven't checked this yet, but I was thinking maybe I have some ice in my airbox, and when everything warms up it turns to water and sucks though my outwear and k&n filter. I am going to check this tonight, and if this is my problem...I think Uni is going to be my new filter:cool: Also is there a way to check my rev limit, or should I just swap with a friend and see if it makes any difference??
