need more power

hey guys can you help me oput i have a 250ex and a low budget what can i do to get more power out of it :(

I see that no one is replying so i thought i would give it a shot. First, you could take out your baffle and airbox lid and rejet. (Don't know if you have too but i would). Then if you have a few dollars laying around you could buy an aftermarket airfilter with some type of outerware (if you leave your airbox lid off) and then you could eventually buy a pipe if you get the money. My friend has a 250ex and he took the baffle out, got an airfilter and it now hauls. Faster than a stock ex. Hope this helped.

thanx for your reply i already took out my baffel and airbox lid and jet. i wil try to get a new filter and outer wear and see how that helps. i just restly blow the motor and i was thinking about a over bore or higher compersion pistions. do you know anything about the web cams

I wouldnt dump to much into a beginers quad, keep what you have and save tords somthing else. even if you get 5hp out of it its not gonna be worth the coin you spend tring, again you will get used to it and want more only having no money and no way out.

well since you said you just blew the motor id consider the powroll 246cc kit. thatll give you more power. also for pipes the supertrapp pipes work well on the 229cc engine.;)

if u cud find a wiseco piston even a std. bore it will give you horse power maybe
