Was just cleaning the snow off my new ride and noticed a little sticker on the underside of the seat. My seat was made on 01-06-2004 number 17 of 40. So my 450 had to of been put together around the same time unless the seat was causing the reason for this delay. Picked my 450 up today 02-07-2004. Was shipped on 01- 30. check to see if all of rubber grommets are on your seat I was missing one when i picked it up. Also tighten the three screws on the heat shield and make sure hood is snapped into place completely by holding fingers under top grommet while pressing top of hood down, you will hear it snap ito place. Breaks stop this machine on a dime, Starts on the first kick cold and hot . hope this snow and ice start melting so i can ride it a little harder. getting stuck in deep snow s*@#s!!! money well spent in my opinion. waiting for my long travel JB Racing A - Arms, extended swingarm and steering stem, PEP zps shocks and nerfs and going to try hipers on this quad.
